Another early morning and I find myself slithering out of my sleeping bag.  Tired, cloudy and in desperate need of more sleep, I grab my gear, toss it in the car and head out in search for good light.  I knew where I wanted to photograph and when I arrived, it was just myself and one other gentleman.  

As we waited for the light, we conversed about cameras, gear, where we had visited the past few days, etc.  and welcomed the others that slowly trickled in.  The light began to melt over the the Teton Range and I was framed and ready for action in my spot.  

Focusing on a nice pano that was exposed correctly was key, and with my 0.9 Lee Soft Graduated ND and Promaster CP-L filters, I made sure that the lighting was cooked to perfection.  Although there were some individuals that tried to smoother out the good mood while there, overall the lighting and friends were great.

The first morning of my return trip to Jackson Hole had me staring at a shroud of fog looming over the valley floor.  

Not only was I lucky enough to capture this thirteen shot pano, but I have never captured the pre-dawn blues in a way I thought worthy of showcasing.  

For me this shot is one of a kind and I will never forget this moment.  And I guarantee that if you visit this area too, you'll never forget 'The Grand' as she rises almost 8,000 vertical feet right before your eyes.  

A true sight that must be had in person.
